Abstract:
The present invention discloses an action testing method for a governor system, the method capable of testing the actions of the governor system that actuates an emergency stop device on the basis of an image inside a hoistway, while a passenger car is stopped. This action testing method for a governor system for elevators is a method for testing the actions of the governor system that actuates an emergency stop device (2) when an excessive speed state of a passenger car (1) is detected on the basis of an image of the surface of a guide rail (4) acquired by an imaging sensor (3) provided to the passenger car, wherein the method involves simulating the surface state of the guide rail and acquiring, with the image sensor, moving images of a pattern flowing along the hoisting direction of the passenger car.
