Abstract:
An activated carbon fiber and preparation method therefor. The activated carbon fiber has an ash content of 0.8-3 wt%, a specific surface area of 1000 m2/g-2200 m2/g, a total pore volume of 0.4120-0.8370 cc/g, a 1-2 nm pore volume ratio of 28%-75%, and a 200 mg/m3 xylene adsorption capacity of 20%-45%. The preparation method for the activated carbon fiber comprises: impregnating raw materials using a phosphoric acid aqueous solution, drying, carbonizing, cooling, washing and drying to obtain the activated carbon fiber. The phosphoric acid aqueous solution has a mass fraction of 5%-13%. According to the activated carbon fiber and the preparation method therefor, phosphoric acid can be repeatedly permeated into the interior of the fiber without sticking, the production process is continuously carried out, the production efficiency is high, production costs are low, and the obtained activated carbon fiber has excellent performance.
