Abstract:
The present invention relates to an activating agent for simultaneously activating an oxidative phosphorylation pathway and inhibiting a glycolytic pathway, i.e., baicalein, and provides application of the activating agent in preparation of anti-cancer drugs. The activating agent can inhibit the glycolytic pathway while activating oxidative phosphorylation, thereby realizing the effect of killing cancer cells, the mechanism can become a novel anti-cancer mechanism, and key proteins involved in related pathways can become new targets for drug development.
