Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and provide an active antenna system, a base station, and a communication system. The active antenna system comprises: a first antenna array, a second antenna array, and a first remote radio unit (RRU). The first antenna array is provided with two antenna ports; the second antenna array is provided with four antenna ports, i.e., a first antenna port, a second antenna port, a third antenna port, and a fourth antenna port; the first RRU is provided with four ports; the four ports of the first RRU are connected to the two antenna ports of the first antenna array, and the first and third antenna ports of the second antenna array, respectively; the second and fourth antenna ports of the second antenna array are used for connecting other RRUs except the first RRU. The present application can reduce the total weight of an active antenna unit and decrease the complexity for field installation and production of the active antenna unit.
