Abstract:
The present application discloses an active constituent generator comprising an electrode rod and a discharge generation unit for triggering a discharge from the electrode rod. The electrode rod is plate-shaped. The electrode rod may comprise a flat first face, a flat second face on the reverse side from the first face, and a front edge surface formed between the first face and the second face. The discharge generation unit may generate the discharge from the front edge surface.
