Description:
ACTIVE DISSOLVING FERTILIZER TABLETS

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[Para 1 ] The present invention relates to a new method of fertilizing fields and more specifically introduces an active dissolving fertilizer tablet which evenly and cost-effectively disperses the fertilizer in a desired quantity solution without leaving any traces.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PRIOR ART

[Para 2] Today, fertilizer active ingredients, (for example: chelated Iron), application for the plants is carried out by supplying fertilizer with added chelated Iron, supplying solid chelated iron and dissolving it in water tanks, or supplying liquid chelated iron. In any event, there is a need to transport large amounts of liquid or alternatively, performing the process of dissolving in the field, which requires physical work from the farmers. In addition, this method may cause precipitations or difficulties in dissolving the chelated iron in the field due to the lack of existing tools. In the market there are several options for receiving fertilizer in tablet, but there are no dissolving fertilizer tablets that decompose during a neutralization reaction process leading to even dispersion without the need of blending.

[Para 3] The same applies to all active ingredients. Active ingredient meaning macro-element fertilizer (nitrogen, potassium, or phosphorus) or micro- element fertilizer (such as: Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Boron, Molybdenum,

Zinc, Copper, Chlorine, Sodium, Cobalt and Silicon).

[Para 4] Currently chelated iron is marketed in 2 forms: liquid chelated iron- most of the solution consists of water and little powdery chelated iron; Solid iron- measurement/weighing is required, then dispersing the powder in the container for dissolving involves dispersing and dirtying the powder in the field (by the wind). It is necessary to bland the powdery chelated iron until fully dissolvement.

[Para 5] The active dissolving tablets solve the above problems and allow convenient calculation for the farmer (the number of active dissolving tablets per desired volume). The fact that the active dissolving tablet and packaging have a measured and well-known quantity of active ingredient makes it easier for the farmer to calculate the exact amount necessary without the need for calculations, conversion of units and weighing.

[Para 6] This invention introduces the following advantages:

(a) The uniqueness of the dissolving tablet is that once it comes into contact with liquid (water) a neutralization reaction starts, (e.g. active dissolving), on the one hand helping to uniformly disperse the active substance (such as: chelated Iron), and on the other hand, leaving no trace, (the materials become Carbon Bi-Acidic - a gas that evaporates).

(b) Another advantage is, the easy and simple transportation without water (weight savings) and clean, since the powder is dispersed/wasted).

(c) Another advantage is the evenly dispersion in the fertilization container which does not require blending tools. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[Para 7] The present invention introduces a new method of fertilizing fields by using an active dissolving fertilizer tablet which evenly and cost- effectively disperses the fertilizer in the desired quantity solution without leaving any traces.

[Para 8] In one embodiment, described herein is an active dissolving tablet fertilizer comprising, for example: Sodium Bicarbonate, chelated Iron, Adipic Acid, and Glyceryl Behenate, (hereunder "The ingredients").

[Para 9] Another embodiment of the above active dissolving tablet fertilizer comprising, in addition, antifoam ingredients.

[Para 10] The process of manufacturing the active dissolving tablet fertilizer comprises the actions of weighting the ingredients, mixing, and grinding till a uniformity and homogenic mixture is achieved.

[Para 11] The mixture is placed into molds compatible to get the desired size, suitable to the quantity of the mixture for each tablet.

[Para 12] The mixture is compressed into the molds. When the shape and level of compression is reached, the compressed tablets are extricated and packed.

[Para 13] The above described and other features are further set forth in the following detailed description, and claims. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[Para 14] An embodiment is an example or implementation of the inventions. The various appearances of "one embodiment," "an embodiment" or "some embodiments" do not necessarily all refer to the same embodiments. Although various features of the invention may be described in the context of a single embodiment, the features may also be provided separately or in any suitable combination. Conversely, although the invention may be described herein in the context of separate embodiments for clarity, the invention may also be implemented in a single embodiment.

[Para 15] Reference in the specification to "one embodiment", "an embodiment", "some embodiments" or "other embodiments" means that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiments is included in at least one embodiment, but not necessarily all embodiments, of the inventions. It is understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein is not to be construed as limiting and are for descriptive purpose only.

[Para 16] One embodiment of the active dissolving tablet fertilizer is a tablet fertilizer comprising, for example: between 1 3-27% sodium bicarbonate, between 50-80% chelated Iron, 14-29% Adipic acid and 1 -3% Glyceryl Behenate hereunder ("The ingredients").

[Para 17] Further another embodiment of the above active dissolving tablet fertilizer comprises antifoam ingredients in addition.

[Para 18] A process of manufacturing the active dissolving tablet fertilizer comprises the actions of weighting the ingredients according to the above proportions, mixing and grinding till a uniformity and homogenic mixture is achieved.

[Para 19] The mixture is placed into molds compatible to get the desired size, suitable for the desired quantity of the mixture.

[Para 20] The mixture is compressed to between 8-1 2 MPa into the molds. When the shape and level of compression is reached, the compressed tablets are extricated and packed.

[Para 21] The tablets are transported to the fields without water and since the powder is dispersed/wasted it keeps everything clean. The active dissolving tablets are put in the fertilizing container and when they come into contact with water a neutralization reaction starts between Base and acid helping the uniformity disperse of the active substance, leaving no trace since the materials become Carbon Bi-Acidic (a gas that evaporates). The fertilizing container is ready for fertilizing after a short period of time without any further action.
