Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an active-energy-ray-curable composition for forming an optical film, having good moist-heat resistance and excellent flexibility, and whereby a low photoelastic coefficient and low retardation can both be achieved, and to provide an optical film obtained from the composition, a polarizer protective film, and a polarizing plate. [Solution] An active-energy-ray-curable composition for forming an optical film, containing a component (A) and/or a component (B). Component (A): a reactant of a (meth)acrylate-based polymer (a1) having in a side chain thereof a functional group capable of reacting with a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group, and a compound (a2) having a (meth)acryloyl group and a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group and having a number-average molecular weight of 180 or greater. Component (B): a reactant of a (meth)acrylate-based polymer (b1) having in a side chain thereof a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group having the compound (a2) as a constituent monomer, and a compound (b2) having a (meth)acryloyl group and a functional group capable of reacting with a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group.
