Abstract:
A secondary cell is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte; (1) the negative electrode including a plurality of carbon particles and a plurality of non-carbon particles, (2) the carbon particles containing graphite, (3) the non-carbon particles containing a material including at least one of silicon (Si), tin (Sn), and germanium (Ge) as a structural element, and (4) the distribution (horizontal axis: particle diameter (D) (μm), vertical axis: first order derivative (dQ/dD)) of the first order derivative of an integrated value (Q) of the relative particle amount with respect to the particle diameter (D) of the plurality of carbon particles having at least one discontinuity.
