Abstract:
This substrate (20) is formed by forming pixel electrodes (25) in regions demarcated by a plurality of gate lines (26) and source lines (27) that are mutually intersecting. Capacity lines (126) are provided that form capacitance between pixel electrodes (25) and are disposed in parallel to the gate lines (26). The capacity lines (126) are disposed in a manner so as to overlap the outer edges (125, 125) of adjacent pixel electrodes (25, 25). On the capacity lines (126) are formed: a first insulating film that covers the capacity lines (126); a linear height-increasing section (30) formed on the first insulating film; and a second insulating film provided with a protruding band (129) that bulges imitating the height-increasing section (30) and covers the height-increasing section (30). The pixel electrodes (25) are over the second insulating film and are formed in a manner so that the outer edges (125) ride up onto the protruding band (129).
