Abstract:
An active mixer, belonging to the technical field of mixers. The mixer comprises three parts: a transconductance stage (1), a switching stage (2) and a load stage (3). The transconductance stage (1) uses a third-order transconductance coefficient correction current mirror pair circuit to convert an input radio-frequency differential voltage signal into a current signal. MOS transistors of the switching stage (2) are switched on in turn under the control of a large local oscillation signal. Resistors of the load stage (3) convert the current signal converted by the switching stage into a voltage signal. The mixer adopts an improved dynamic current injection technology. The scintillation noise of the mixer is reduced. The active mixer has a simple structure, high conversion gain, good linearity, low noise and good port isolation.
