Abstract:
This invention relates to an active movement attenuator with which it is possible to desirably attenuate oscillations by comprising an elastic body (1) which is supported on one part with respect to an elevator car, and a counterweight (2) which is disposed upon the elastic body (1). On the basis of a detection signal from an acceleration sensor (9), a control means (10) of the active movement attenuator establishes a location of the counterweight (2) with respect to the elastic body (1) and moves the counterweight (2) by way of a motor (7) to an appropriate location, such that the resonance frequency of the active movement attenuator matches the excitation frequency which is transmitted to the elevator car.
