Abstract:
The disclosed activity meter (1) is provided with an acceleration sensor (13) for detecting body motion, and a control unit (10) connected to the acceleration sensor (13). The control unit (10) determines a segment of a period of body motion from the detection output of the acceleration sensor (13), and specifies the type of activity during a prescribed period which includes said segment on the basis of the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the said outputted detection data corresponding to the determined period segment.
