Abstract:
An actuating apparatus for an electric curtain or electric door/window, comprising a cable connector (1). The cable connector comprises a housing (7) and a cover plate (8). The cover plate is engagingly connected to the housing. Because the housing and the cover plate of the cable connector are engagingly connected instead of being fixed with screws as practiced previously, fixing is convenient, and obviated is the need for an electric screwdriver to turn the screws to fix the housing and cover plate on a production line, thus reducing workload, increasing production efficiency, and saving costs for hardware such as screws; previously, screw holes needed to be provided on the housing for fixing, screws were prone to stripping after multiple instances of mounting and unmounting and thus rendering the housing unusable, then the housing needed to be replaced; with the switch to engaging fixing, the cover plate is more prone to damages than the housing after multiple instances of mounting and unmounting, the cover plate is less expensive than the housing and is easier to replace, the need to mount and unmount the housing is obviated, simply the cover plate needs to be mounted or unmounted.
