Abstract:
The present invention relates to an actuator for controlling a lens focal length. More specifically, the focal length of a lens mounted to a movable member is controlled by movement operation for changing the position of the movable member mounted with the lens by moving the movable member to and fro along an optical axis and stopping operation for fixing the position of the movable member to a point in the movement section of the movable member. Particularly, an actuator section is formed to provide a thrust structure between the movable member and a fixed member so as to enable auto-focusing and optical zoom via the fast and accurate position-movement and the position-fixing of the movable member. Therefore, an optical device mounted with the same may be decreased in volume and in the consumption of current at the time of auto-focusing and optical zoom operations. Furthermore, it is possible to secure precision and speed of operations.
