Abstract:
Provided is an actuator that is easily reduced in size. An elastic support body 16 with which the actuator S1 is provided has: attachment member side portions 92 to be fixed that are fixed to an attachment member 12; a mover side portion 94 to be fixed that is fixed to a mover 14; and a deformation portion 80 that is positioned between the attachment member side portions 92 to be fixed and the mover side portion 94 to be fixed. The ends 80E of the deformation portion 80 (the ends of the deformation portion 80 on the sides of the attachment member side portions 92 to be fixed) are positioned only in a region on one side in the X-direction with respect to the mover side portion 94 to be fixed and in a region ("X-direction outside region") on the other side in the X-direction with respect to the mover side portion to be fixed.
