Abstract:
An actuator having an increased output. An actuator configured to move a mover is provided with a driver disposed so as to be able to make contact with the mover, and also with an electromechanical conversion section which has displacement sections arranged side by side in the movement direction of the mover and displaced at different phases in the direction crossing the movement direction of the mover when supplied with electric power and which, by means of the displacement of the displacement sections, causes an end of the driver, said end being located on the mover side, to move rectilinearly in the movement direction of the mover with the end in contact with the mover.
