Abstract:
The present invention has: a driving motor; a wave generator that is rotated by the motor and has a rotary shaft having a right-angled cross-section having a non-circular outer shape; a tubular part that is flexurally deformed in a non-circular shape by the rotation of the wave generator; a flexible external gear having external teeth that are provided on the outer circumference of the tubular part and have a tooth trace that is inclined with respect to the rotary shaft of the wave generator; an internal gear which is engaged with the flexurally deformed external teeth; a control shaft integrally rotates with the flexible external gear and is connected to a variable compression ratio mechanism; and a restriction part which restricts the movement of the flexible external gear in the direction of the rotary shaft when a torque is input to the control shaft from the variable compression ratio mechanism. Thus, the driving motor, which is the source of the torque, can be miniaturized, and energy can be saved.
