Abstract:
This sensing device is applied to an actuator that comprises a shaft that is movable in the axial direction, and that has a hollow section formed by hollowing the inside at least on the tip section side thereof. The actuator picks up a workpiece by causing a negative pressure to be generated in the hollow section and thereby causing the workpiece to be suctioned to the tip section of the shaft. The sensing device further comprises: a flow rate sensor that is provided between the ends of an air passage through which air suctioned out from the hollow section flows when the hollow section is set to a negative pressure, and that detects the flow rate of air flowing through the air passage; and a pressure sensor provided between the ends of the air passage to detect the pressure in the air passage.
