Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an actuator for a steering device that can increase the degree of freedom of design changes regardless of changes to the configuration on the hydraulic power steering side. Provided is an actuator for a steering device, the actuator being: equipped with a transmission mechanism that transmits the rotation of a steering shaft to a turning wheel, a piston disposed in the transmission mechanism, and a pair of pressure chambers that generate power to move the piston; and disposed between a steering wheel and a hydraulic power steering device that imparts steering force to the turning wheel in association with the movement of the piston. The actuator comprises: an input shaft that rotatably pivots in a housing and is disposed on the steering wheel side; an output shaft that rotatably pivots in the housing and is disposed on the hydraulic power steering device side; a torsion bar that connects the input shaft and the output shaft; a motor rotor that is disposed within the housing on the outer periphery of the output shaft and rotates as a single body with the output shaft; a motor stator disposed within the housing on the outer periphery of the motor rotor; and a rotation angle detection unit that is disposed within the housing and detects the rotation angles of the input shaft and the output shaft or the relative angle of the input shaft and the output shaft.
