Abstract:
Provided is an actuator capable of shortening a total length. An actuator (2) is provided with: a casing (7); a hollow shaft (8) that has a bottom (8b) and that is rotatably supported on the casing (7) via bearings (9a, 9b); a screw shaft (14) that has a center line shared with the hollow shaft (8) and that is connected to the bottom (8b) of the hollow shaft (8); and a nut (15) screw-engaged with the screw shaft (14). The nut (15) moves in the axial direction of the screw shaft (14) and is able to enter a portion between the hollow shaft (8) and the screw shaft (14).
