Abstract:
This actuator has: a piezoelectric element; a diaphragm to which the piezoelectric element is joined and which vibrates according to expansion/contraction displacement of the piezoelectric element; and a first spacer and a second spacer for fixing, to a base member, both end portions of the diaphragm in an expansion/contraction displacement direction of the piezoelectric element. Driving characteristics of the actuator are determined on the basis of an effective length of the diaphragm between the first spacer and the second spacer.
