Abstract:
An actuator 38C comprises: a cylinder 50 sandwiched between a bearing housing 52 and an anchor plate 70 anchored along with a servo motor 32C to another end surface of a support plate 34C; a ball screw shaft 66 having one end protrude into the cylinder 50 through a through-hole in the anchor plate 70; a slide block 62 that threadedly engages one end of the ball screw shaft 66 within the cylinder 50; a cylindrical piston 54 that is joined to an end of the slide block 62 and reciprocatably disposed within the cylinder 50; linear motion bearing units 56AF and 56BF that are disposed inside the bearing housing 52 and movably support the piston 54; and linear motion bearing units 64A and 64B that are disposed inside the cylinder 50 and movably support the slide block 62.
