The present invention relates to an actuator for opening/closing a valve, wherein components constituting the actuator are improved such that same can be assembled/disassembled conveniently, thereby reducing repair/maintenance costs, the time necessary to assemble the actuator can be shortened through the improved components, and same is appropriate for mass production, thereby providing improved competitiveness over other manufacturers. The actuator (100) of the present invention, described above, comprises: a driving motor (M) installed inside an upper casing (110) and a lower casing (120) so as to drive a first worm (MG) coupled to a shaft thereof; a worm shaft (130) having a second worm (131) provided on one side thereof and having a first worm wheel (134) provided on the other side thereof and installed to interwork with the first worm; a switching lever (150) for manual switching to one side end of the worm shaft (130); a manual handle (140) for manual operation; a valve opening/closing means (160) having a second worm wheel (162) provided to interwork with the second worm (131) of the worm shaft, the lower end of the valve opening/closing means (160) interworking with a valve so as to open/close the valve; and a torque cam (170) installed adjacent to the upper end of the worm shaft (130) so as to identify whether the valve is opened/closed by an operation of the worm shaft and to guide same.
