Abstract:
Provided is an actuator with which it is possible to match the center of thrust in the Z-axis direction and the center of rotation in the θ-axis direction. In a field part (1), permanent magnets (3a) in which the surface is an N pole and permanent magnets (3b) in which the surface is an S pole are alternately arranged in a lattice shape, in the θ-axis direction and the Z-axis direction. In an armature part (11), there are provided: first cores (12a); second cores (12b) disposed in the θ-axis direction relative to the first cores (12a); third cores (12c) disposed in the Z-axis direction relative to the first cores (12a); and first through third coils (13a-13c) wound around the first through third cores (12a-12c). A control device (14) supplies a current to the first coils (13a) and the second coils (13b) so that a torque is produced in the θ-axis direction. The control device (14) also supplies a current to the first coils (13a) and the third coils (13c) so that thrust is produced in the Z-axis direction.
