Abstract:
The present invention relates to an acupuncture-point moxa cautery device for moxibustion for a dental disease and a local part, the device comprising: an inner cover having a vertically-penetrated cylindrical structure; a support for holding a cone of moxa at the center of the inner cover; a handle extending outward from the inner cover; an outer cover vertically penetrated to surround the inner cover; and a cap for covering the top of the outer cover, wherein each of the inner cover and the outer cover has a vent passing through a side surface thereof, the outer cover and the cap are made of a silicone material, and the outer cover is formed to have a transverse width of 15 to 30 mm and a longitudinal length of 25 to 40 mm. Therefore, moxibustion can be applied to even a part, such as the gingiva, to which a conventional moxibustion procedure is not easily applied. Further, a part of the device, contacting the mouth during moxibustion for a dental lesion is made of silicone and does not make a user uncomfortable. In addition, the outer cover can be put on or taken off to make it easy to sanitarily manage the device.
