Abstract:
An acute-angle bending tool 1 for hemming performs sectional bending, in which a portion of a flanged rim 3 formed in a sheet 2 via a bend 4 is folded so as to form an acute angle with the reverse side of the sheet 2, while shifting the processing position along the flanged rim 3, thereby performing acute-angle bending on the flanged rim 3. The tool is provided with a first die 5 having a support section 8 that supports the sheet 2 across the reverse side up along the bend 4, and a drive means 7 for driving a second die 6 in an advancing direction F and a retreating direction B with respect to the first die 5. The second die is provided with a pressing face that presses, when the die is driven in the advancing direction F, the outer side of the portion of the flanged-rim 3 of the sheet 2 supported on the first die 5, whereby sectional bending is carried out.
