Abstract:
An acyl dipeptide derivative represented by formula (1) (in the formula, the acyl group represented by R1-CO- represents a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched C2-24 acyl group; each of R2 and R3 independently represents a hydrogen atom, OH group, or OR5 group; R5 represents a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched C1-6 hydrocarbon group; and R4 reprsents a hydrogen atom or a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched C1-6 hydrocarbon group) or a salt thereof has an exceptional antimicrobial effect, and compositions containing these compounds have excellent usability.
