Abstract:
Disclosed are: an Nε-acyl-L-lysine-specific aminoacylase which enables the efficient synthesis of an Nε-acyl-L-lysine; and a method for synthesizing an Nε-acyl-L-lysine with high efficiency. Specifically disclosed are: an Nε-acyl-L-lysine-specific aminoacylase comprising an amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:5; DNA encoding the Nε-acyl-L-lysine-specific aminoacylase, or a variant thereof; and a transformant carrying a recombinant DNA molecule comprising the DNA or the variant thereof.
