Abstract:
An AC LED lighting system is disclosed. The present invention provides an AC LED driving apparatus which can reduce power consumption of at least one driving current source by controlling a driving voltage supplied to the driving current source such that only a predetermined voltage at which the driving current source can be optimally operated is supplied thereto. Therefore, the AC LED driving apparatus according to the present invention can prevent an IC chip, in which a driving current source is implemented, from locally having an excessively increased surface temperature.
