Title:
ADAPTABLE ROTOR WITH ELECTRIC GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/103599
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Adaptable rotor with an electrical generator for wind turbines. The rotors of the first three variants have wings that rotate around its longitudinal axis and occupy the most advantageous position in relation to wind speed, and optimal use of wind at different speeds. In the fourth and fifth variants the wings are small cores, which are rotated in the horizontal plane, but they are on one side of the propeller in the horizontal and the other in the vertical plane. The fifth option can be used to power catamarans and similar boats, as well as to drive the boat.

F03D

^.TECHNICAL PROBLEM

Current propeller wings are fixed to the central part of the propeller and tuned for the use of a certain wind speed. When the change of wind speed does not fit the tuned one propeller is producing optimal beneficial effect.

STATE OF THE ENGINEERING

Propellers whose wings are tuned for specific wind speed are in use, at this moment.

. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION ESSENCE

This propeller has moveable wings which rotates around its longitudinal axis depending on wind speed, and take up a position with the inclination to make optimal use of wind power.

5. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIRST VERSION

Figure 1 shows the lateral drawing adaptable propellers with electric generator,

Figure 2 shows the lateral drawing of second variant of adaptable propeller with electric generator,

Figure 3 shows the sketch of vertical section of the propeller's second variant,

Figure 4 shows the lateral drawing of adaptable propeller with a longitudinal section of the oil shock absorber

Figure 5 shows a sketch of adaptable propeller that spins in a horizontal level

Figure 6 shows an enlarged drawing of the horizontal propeller with sliding rings (vertical section),

Figure 7 shows a sketch of the horizontal propeller with sliding rings.

There are five variants of adaptable propeller:

, DETAILED DESCRD?TION OF THE FHIST VARIANT OF ADAPTABLE PROPELLER WITH ELECTRIC GENERATOR

The propeller consists of extending oval 1 -Fig.1 at the end of the spinning shaft in which are fixed shaft 3 for the second wing propeller. In front of each wing 2 is boomer 4 and stretched spring 5 between them, and boomer 6, which prevents further rotation of the wings in the direction of the springs. Behind oval enlargement 1 on axle is sliding cover 9. At the bottom of the rear side of the wings 2 are based on a thin cable and fixed to the front edge of the lining 9 and the back of the lining of the starting two falls, the opposite set, with one ball in the middle and fixed the 11th for the protuberance With an increase in wind speed exactly proportionally reacts wind to the propeller's wings so as ball's centrifugal force due to increase ball speed and turning, the balls moves apart, pulling the inner cable and perform the appropriate rotation of the wing. As a result, a favorable wind glides on the wings optimal by giving a kinetic energy of the same. Coupling between the forces of springs and centrifugal force sphere must be such that there is no shimmy wing propeller. The shaft 3 is inserted into the cylindrical part 7 wing 2, and there is channel in a cylindrical section 7 and shaft 3, at the same level at which a security ring to hold the wing. On the edge of the electric engine there is protective net going over the balls 10.

A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF SECOND VARIANT OF ADAPTABLE PROPELLER WITH ELECTRIC GENERATOR

In second variant, in the wing is lower, longer channel 22 and the upper, shorter and wider channel, containing spring 13 and shaft 27 which ends with a small expanding 12 and the springs 13 compressed between the edge of this expansion and narrowed, cylindrical part 22. From the bottom of the shaft 27 laterally separates a small lever 23 which passes through a narrow inclined slot in the arched bent plate 25, which is fixed to ovoid enlargement 26 on the front of the propeller shaft. At faster rotation propellers, just in proportion to the centrifugal force acting on the wings of the propeller, as well as the direct effect of wind on the same spring so tight and the wings are rotated due to slide through the arm hair, arched slot 24-Fig.3, creating the optimal angle of the wings in relation the wind speed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THIRD VARIANT OF ADAPTABLE PROPELLER WITH ELECTRIC GENERATOR

The third variant of the propeller as opposed to the first, instead of springs 5 for each wing of the propeller has a one spring 17-fig.4 inside of the oil stabilizer, which is located on the axle 14, and going forward from the expansion oval. On the axle 14 is a plunger 16 which has a tube 19 for passage of oil fixed with nut 20. Lining Oil Stabilizer 15 slides on the cob, which depends on the mutual coupling spring 17 and the pressure of wind on the wings of the propeller and of centrifugal forces acting on the ball 10. Its wings are thin wire seals 8 are connected with the edge of the cylinder oil stabilizer 15 with the front and the back side are connected with a sliding coating 9 connectied with cables and two balls 10. DETAILED DESCRD7TION OF FOURTH VARIANT OF ADAPTABLE PROPELLER WITH ELECTRIC GENERATOR

Here is a propeller positioned in the horizontal plane. Around the shaft 28-Fig.5 there is spinning cylinder 25, which is over the top of the ball bearing based on the specified axis. Laterally from the cylinder in two or more levels, leaving at least three shafts 31, equally distant. On the shafts are movable wings 30, which are, on one side of the propeller under the influence of the wind, decreasing in the horizontal plane and rely on the lever 35, and on the other side, under the influence of wind's first impact on concave protruding of 36, lifted the wing in the vertical plane , and at the same time it strikes the vertical lever 29. At the place of impact, wing has a shock pad that dampens impact noise. Wind blows on the wings as analog, as it blows to the the sails, and in a one moment the gust is frontal, giving the maximum kinetic energy to the wing. Between the moving parts of the propeller are the ball bearings. At the bottom of part 27 is a disc 33 with the peripheral gear for articulation with the gear for further transmission.

DETAILED DESCRHTION OF FIFTH VARIANT ADAPTABLE PROPELLER WITH ELECTRIC GENERATOR

Unlike the fourth variant here on the axle 28-sl 7 there is spinning cylinder 37 connected with the outer cylinder 38 in several places and the cylinder has an openings 43 in two or more levels, and there are slip rings 44 from which axes goes to the shaft 31, below which is the sliding ring is a small housing 42 in which there is a lever 41, which suppresses the lever 40 in an opening 43 on the cylinder 38th 41 has a lever handle 39 which can be drawn from this hole. At the bottom of the cylinder 38 there is a disk with a peripheral gear for articulation with the respective other gear for further transmission, and the disk is located between two pads of the hand brake. Shaft 28 is fixed to the frame at the rear of the boat. In case of inclement weather rings are lowering and the vertical bars 29 are placed so they do not come in conflict with one another.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION OF ADAPTABLE PROPELLER WITH ELECTRICAL GENERATOR

Described propellers would be used for supplying electricity to households located in regions where winds are represented in small and medium speed.

The fifth version of the propeller, Figure 7, would be primarily used for boat propulsion, where catamaran are prefered, and adapted telescopic crane would be used for rings moving. For use on boats, it must have the same outriggers and netting underneath and around the propeller. The work of this propeller would be unhindered by the change of wind speed and direction. At rest of the boats, t batteries would be charged and at the movement propulsion woul be direct, electrical or combined, and speed should not be greater than the speed of the wind.
