Provided is an adapter that can collect a plurality of tube types into one bundle, connect a pipe that can convert to a small diameter, and transport fluid or connect electrical wires to an artificial organ without changing the design on the artificial organ side. Also provided is a connection structure for same. The adapter connects a pipe with a plurality of inner cavities and a single pipe with a single path such that the respective paths thereof communicate. A first attachment member to which the pipe with a plurality of inner cavities is attached comprises: a plurality of first ports which have almost identically shaped external diameters as inner cavity openings in an end section of the pipe with a plurality of inner cavities; and a first cutout section. Said first attachment member is formed such that the first ports are disposed in positions where engagement with each inner cavity opening is possible and the first cutout section is disposed in a position that corresponds to one inner cavity opening, when the pipe with a plurality of inner cavities is attached. A second attachment member to which the single pipe is attached uses an adapter provided with a second port which engages with the inner cavity of the single pipe and a connection structure for same.
