Abstract:
Provided is an adapter 200 comprising: an adapter-side battery pack mounting unit which includes a plurality of cell units 170 and 180 separated from each other, and is connected to the battery pack 100 to which outputs of the plurality of cell units are independently output; and a device-side mounting unit which is connected to an electric device main body. The adapter-side battery pack mounting unit has an adapter battery-side rail mechanism which is capable of switching the output voltage between a first voltage and a second voltage and enables a direct connection of a battery pack to a first electric device main body of which rated voltage corresponds to the first voltage and a second electric device main body of which rated voltage corresponds to the second voltage. The device-side mounting unit has an adapter device-side rail mechanism for enabling a connection to the first electric device main body and/or the second electric device main body.
