Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adapter for internet cable connection installed between an incoming Internet cable line and a network device, and a system and a method for controlling the Internet connection by using the adapter for internet cable connection. The adapter for internet cable connection according to the present invention comprises: an adapter body installed between the Internet cable and the network device; a male adapter connector protruding from one side of the adapter body and connected to a female connector of the network device and having an elastic lever for resiliently engaging and disengaging with the female connector; a female adapter connector which is provided on the other side of the adapter body and to which a male connector of the Internet cable is connected; a locking means having a travelling section for moving toward the male adapter connector and restricting the operation of the elastic lever when advancing toward the male adapter connector; a locking means driving unit for driving the locking means; a switch for switching a connection between the female adapter connector and the male adapter connector within the adapter body; and a control unit for controlling operations of the locking means driving unit and the switch.
