Abstract:
An adapter (1) is provided with a first connecting part (10) for connecting to a female connector (5), and a second connecting part (20) for connection to a port (8). The first connecting part (10) is provided with a male luer (11) for insertion into the female connector, and an engagement part (15) capable of engaging with the female connector. The second connecting part (20) is provided with a cylindrical communicating part (21) for insertion into the port, and a female thread (25) capable of being screwed to the port. A sharp tip (22) is provided at the distal end of the communicating part (21).
