Abstract:
A tap coefficient control circuit (12) sets tap coefficients which are updated by a second tap coefficient updater (11) as initial values for a convergence operation of tap coefficients of a first digital filter (13) updated by a first tap coefficient updater (14), arranges the tap coefficients set as initial values in descending order of the degree of contribution of the convergence operation of the first tap coefficient updater (14), determines that tap coefficients greater than or equal to an upper designated number are valid and tap coefficients less than the designated number are invalid, and sets the tap coefficients of the first digital filter (13) corresponding to the tap coefficients determined to be invalid to zero until the next determination result comes out, preventing use thereof in calculations by the first tap coefficient updater (14).
