Abstract:

An adaptor device for an electronic device, enabling that another electronic device to be installed on an existing installation device for an IC card. The adaptor device has a housing (31) installed to a host device (1); an installation portion (35) in which an IC card (10) is installed; a terminal portion (53) for performing data transmission and reception between a host device, provided on the front face (31a) side that is inserted into the host device; an insertion/removal opening (52) for the IC card, continuously provided at the installation portion; a connection terminal (44) electrically connected to the terminal portion and connected to a terminal portion (12) of the IC card; and cut-out portions (67, 68) with different sizes, exposing the back face side of the IC card and formed in a face on the back face side of the housing which face is opposite the back face of the IC card.
