Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention, having considered the state of the art, is to provide an addition curable silicone composition that yields a silicone rubber that has excellent fire resistance, that does not thicken over time from dehydrogenation, and that has excellent storage stability. [Solution] The present invention comprises the following (A)-(E) components: (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane that is a liquid at 25ºC, and has, in one molecule, two or more alkenyl groups bonded to a silicon atom; (B) an organohydrogen polysiloxane that has, in one molecule, two or more hydrogen atoms bonded to a silicon atom, wherein the number of hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms included in the (B) component is such that there are 1-10 hydrogen atoms for every 1 alkenyl group bonded to a silicon atom included in the (A) component; (C) a catalytic amount of a platinum group metal catalyst; (D) 10-100 parts by weight of talc fine powder; and (E) 2-500 moles of 1,2,3-benzotriazole or a derivative thereof for every 1 mole of platinum group metal atoms of the (C) component.
