Abstract:
An additional power engine system includes an engine (1) and a control system (A), the engine in a combustion system (B) generates a high pressure gas which is sent to a high pressure gas tank (2) of a drive system (C). In the drive system, the high pressure gas tank connects to a pneumatic engine (4) via a flow control valve (3). A cascade expander is placed in the pneumatic engine, the pneumatic engine drives an air compressor (5) to generate a compressed air which is sent into a compressed air tank (6) of the combustion system. There is also an additional gas tank (7) of a compressed air supply system (D), the additional gas tank connects to the pneumatic engine in the drive system via a flow control valve (8). A controller (9) in the control system can control a compressed air switch (11) and a fuel tank (12) on the basis of the feedback information of a pressure sensor (10) of the high pressure gas tank and a pressure sensor (18) of the compressed air tank.
