This additional-processing head (21) is provided with: a ring-shape laser beam formation part (32) that has axicon lenses (43, 45) disposed so as to face each other and a convex lens (44) disposed between the axicon lenses (43, 45), and that forms a laser beam incident on the axicon lens (43) into a ring shape and emits the laser beam from the axicon lens (45); a lens transfer mechanism part (81) which moves the convex lens (44) in the optical axis direction of the laser beam; a laser beam emission part (34) which emits the ring-shaped laser beam toward a workpiece; and a powder material supply tube (61) that is disposed on the inner side of the ring-shaped laser beam emitted from the laser beam emission part (34), that has a discharge port (62) for discharging powder material, and that supplies the powder material toward the workpiece from the discharge port (62). Due to this configuration, this additional-processing head is able to freely control the size of the laser beam irradiation region and the intensity distribution of the laser beam on a workpiece.
