Abstract:
This additive manufacturing device includes: a material supply unit that supplies a shaping material to a processing region (26) on an additive target surface (22); an irradiation unit that irradiates the processing region (26) with a laser beam (24) which melts the shaping material; and a control device that controls the material supply unit and the irradiation unit, and performs control for shaping at least a portion of a shaped object by using ball-shaped beads that are formed by the shaping material being molten by the irradiation of the laser beam (24). This additive manufacturing device is capable of improving the accuracy of the shape of a shaped object.
