Abstract:
A communication system of the present invention comprises: a first machine; a plurality of second machines; and a communication line, originating from the first machine, for serially linking and forming a communication connection with the plurality of second machines. An address-setting device in the communication system is configured to set addresses for the plurality of second machines. The address-setting device comprises a communication control unit. The communication control unit is configured so as to transmit transmission signals to the plurality of second machines via the communication line, alter the amplitude and/or the frequency of the transmission signals, and, on the basis of received signals received via the communication line, associate the addresses of the plurality of second machines and the connection order of the plurality of second machines with respect to the first machine.
