FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the field of garments and body contouring aids. More particularly, the present invention relates to a lace fabric with an adhesive backing for contouring, shaping, supporting, lifting and manipulating body parts.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Apparatus for contouring body parts are well known, but all existing apparatus contour body parts in a noticeable, and sometimes uncomfortable manner. Prior art apparatus mainly consists of low tear strength and low adhesive strength materials that can wear out relatively quickly over time. While this has been acceptable in the past, with recent advent of body contouring garments that are noticeable and uncomfortable, along with more fitted and revealing garments, thus there exists a need for a body contouring apparatus that can shape and manipulate body parts in a comfortable and inconspicuous manner, blendable with makeup and aesthetically pleasing.

It is desirable to provide an adhesive apparatus for body contouring comprising lace material with an adhesive backing to manipulate body parts. Use of lace fabric comprised of nylon and polyester, referred to as High Definition lace, High Definition Swiss lace, or Illusion lace, commonly used for wigs, frontal wigs, and bridal gowns when combined with an adhesive backing create a suitable apparatus for contouring and shaping body parts that is difficult to detect on the body or under clothing. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel apparatus for supporting, shaping, contouring, manipulating and lifting body parts in an inconspicuous and comfortable manner, which obviates or mitigates at least one disadvantage of the prior art. According to aspects as set forth below, there is provided an apparatus having an adhesive with a variety of fabrics for body contouring

According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an adhesive apparatus for body contouring comprising an adhesive solution on a first side and a fabric on a second side.

According to an additional aspect, the adhesive fabric can be a breathable water non soluble fabric.

According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the adhesive apparatus can be in a continued form of material.

According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the adhesive apparatus can be in a discrete form of material adaptable to different body parts.

According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the fabric on the second side can be a plurality of fabric types for a plurality of functions including a full lace material, a composite of a lace and silicone material, a composite of a lace, silicone and plastic material, a composite of a lace, silicone, and cotton liner material and/or a composite of a lace and cotton liner material.

According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the full lace material can provide support, lift and can help shape a body part.

According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the composite of the lace and silicone material can provide support, shape and lift to a body part. According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the composite of the lace, silicone and plastic material can provide enhancement, lift and support to a body part

According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the composite of the lace and silicone material can be structured in a pre-sized round breast lift cup with a set of lace pulls and in a full coverage butt lift with a set of lace pulls. According to an additional aspect of the present invention, the composite of the lace material and adhesive can be structured in a cosmetic style tape roll to allow for sections of the roll to be unraveled and cut into a desired length to be used for supporting, lifting, enhancing, manipulating and contouring body parts. According to an additional aspect of the invention, the composite of the lace material and adhesive can be structured in a cosmetic style tape roll with perforated sections comprised of a predetermined length to be used for supporting, lifting, enhancing, manipulating and contouring body parts. Thus, the apparatus according to the present invention can support, lift, enhance, manipulate and contour body parts in a comfortable, discrete and in an aesthetically pleasing manner with long-lasting adhesives

Figure 1 shows several embodiments of body contouring adhesive apparatus, according to aspects discussed in greater detail with reference to Figures 1A, 1 B, 1C, 1 D, 1 E, 1 F, and 1 G. The body contouring adhesive apparatus comprises a single or double sided adhesive wherein one side comprises an adhesive solution and a second side comprises a textile material. The textile material comprises a lace material. The lace material in the present invention is a lace mesh fabric comprised of nylon and polyester, which is referred to as High Definition (‘HD’) lace, HD Swiss lace, or Illusion lace. The lace material does not contain cotton material. The body contouring apparatus may comprise a lace fabric with an adhesive backing. It is to be understood that the body contouring adhesive apparatus shown in Figurel is an example, and it is to be understood that a variety of different forms are contemplated. For example, the body contouring adhesive apparatus is shown including a full lace only for pre-sized breast lift cup shaped lace material and may comprise lace pulls 24, but the apparatus can be implemented with pre-sized breast lift cup shaped lace material 24 of different materials, shapes and sizes, for supporting and lifting functions or in a tape roll format.

Referring now to Figure 1A, a lateral view of the female body is shown. Body contouring adhesive apparatus comprises a pre-sized breast lift cup shaped lace material 24, and a buttlift shaped lace material and may comprise lace pulls 28. Figure 1 B shows a lateral view of the female body where the body contouring adhesive apparatus comprises a lace only material cut for the nose 32 and the composite of the lace and cotton material cut for the nipples 36, in another embodiment the adhesive cut for the nipples 32 may be lined with cotton liner to provide comfort to the user. Figure 1 C shows a perspective view of the female body where the body contouring adhesive apparatus comprises a lace material cut for the eyes 40, lace and silicone material in a pre-sized breast lift cup shape 44 and may comprise lace pulls and lace and cotton liner material for the female genitals 48. Figure 1 D shows a frontal view of the female body where the body contouring adhesive apparatus comprises a lace material cut in a pre-sized breast side shaped cups 52 and may comprise lace pulls and lace material cut to shape the waist 56 as desired. Figure 1 D shows the body contouring adhesive apparatus, pre-cut for the waist 56, where the pre-sized and pre-cut waist adhesive apparatus 56 comprises extending fingers and a central attachment point that can act as a guide for applying the tape or adhesive solution around the hips and the waist area. Figure 1E shows a frontal view of the female body wearing lace and silicon material cut in a pre-sized breast lift cup 60 and may comprise lace pulls and lace material cut specifically for the under arm 64. Figure 1 F shows a lateral view of the female body sheathed in a lace material cut specifically for the eyebrow 68 and in a lace material cut specifically for cleavage enhancement 72, in another embodiment the cleavage enhancement cut material 72 can be used for side breast shaping. Figure 1G shows a posterior view of the female body sheathed in a lace material cut specifically for the chin and neck 76 and the lace and silicon composite material cut to provide full coverage butt lift 80 and may comprise lace pulls. The lace fabric with adhesive backing may include lace pulls comprising a silicone cup with lace material and an adhesive pull or a cosmetic style type comprised of lace material with an adhesive backing.

A pre-sized breast lift cup shaped lace material 24 comprises an adhesive material on a first side and a lace lining on a second side. Figure 1 shows several body contouring adhesive apparatus where the first side of the apparatus comprises an adhesive solution that is non water soluble, breathable and highly elastic. The adhesive solution or tape acts as a secondary muscle in lifting and supporting a body part and manipulating body parts to a desired shape. The adhesive solution can be any tape or a liquid adhesive that is pressure sensitive and coated with adhesives on both sides, consisting of film, foam, paper and a foil carrier. The adhesive solution or tape comprises a medical grade adhesive or a non-medical grade adhesive. The first side of the tape or the adhesive can attach to a designated body part whereas the second side can be coated with a variety of different textiles depending on the area of the body. For example, the pre-cut pre-sized breast lift cup shaped lace material 24 can have a lace only second side, the pre-cut butt lifts shaped lace material 28 can have a lace only second side, the pre-cut tape for the nose 32 can have a lace only second side, where the second side of the pre-cut tape for the nose can be make-up blendable. The pre-cut nipple pasties 36 can have a lace only second side and a cotton liner on the first adhesive side for comfort. The pre-cut adhesive for the eye lift 40 can have a lace only second side, the pre-cut pre-sized breast lift cup for half coverage 44 can have a lace and silicone second side where the silicone can provide shape and the lace can provide support and lift The pre-cut lifts for the female genitals 48 can have a lace only second side and a first side lined with cotton liner. The pre-cut pre-sized side breast shaper cups 52 can have a lace only second side and the waist shaper 56 can have a lace only second side for support and lift. The pre-cut pre-sized full coverage breast lift cups 60 can have a lace and silicone second side for shaping, support and lift The pre-cut under arm lift 64 can have a lace only second side and the pre-cut adhesive for the eyebrow lift 68 can have a lace only second side. The pre-cut cleavage enhancement 72 can have a lace only second side and the pre-cut

5 chin and neck lifts 76 can have a lace only second side for lifting the chin and neck into a desired shape. The pre-cut full coverage butt lift cups 80 can have a lace and silicon second side.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a pre-sized breast lift cup shaped lace material 24 may comprise a lace pull with lace fabric underneath the breast for shaping, support, and coverage; a lace pull with fabric underneath and cotton lining to cover the nipple area to provide comfort while wearing the apparatus; a lace pull with lace fabric underneath and a silicone cup for shaping, lifting and supporting the breast; or a lace pull with lace fabric underneath, a silicone cup, and cotton lining material to cover the nipple area of the breast.

15 According to an alternate embodiment of the invention, the lace and adhesive material may be constructed into a cosmetic style tape roll comprising perforated sections of a pre-determined length to be removed from the roll or into a continuous roll allowing for sections of the roll to be unraveled and cut into a desired length to be used for supporting, lifting, enhancing, manipulating and contouring body parts.

According to an alternate embodiment of the present invention, the lace and adhesive material for lifting areas of the face may comprise a string to be placed around the head of the user to aid in providing lift to the facial area where the lace and adhesive material is placed.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, when applying the apparatus to a user’s breast area, the apparatus is partially applied with the adhesive side of the material in contact with the skin of the upper area of the breast Part of the lace fabric is moved in an upward and/or in a rearward motion to lift the breast to a desired amount by the user. Once the breast has been lifted to the desired amount, the remaining lace fabric is adhered to the skin of the upper area of

30 the breast and/or chest to ensure the breast remains in the desired lifted position A user may add an additional piece of lace fabric with adhesive backing to the under area of the breast for additional support, if desired. According to an alternate embodiment of the invention, when applying the apparatus to the user’s neck, two equal sized portions of the lace fabric with adhesive are applied to either side of the neck. The apparatus is partially placed with the adhesive side in contact with the skin of

5 the neck below and/or behind the ear. A portion of the lace fabric is moved in an upwards and/or rearwards motion to lift the skin around the throat and underneath the chin to a desired amount by the user. The remaining lace fabric is adhered to the skin on the side of the neck to ensure the neck remains in the desired lifted position. The second piece of the apparatus is placed in a similar fashion to the other side of the neck to ensure the neck is lifted equally on both sides.

In some embodiments of the present invention, when applying the apparatus to the user’s chin, two equal sized portions of the lace fabric with adhesive backing are applied to either side of the neck The apparatus is partially applied with the adhesive backing in contact with the skin of the neck, behind the hairline, below and/or behind the ear. Part of the lace fabric is moved in an

15 upwards and/or rearwards motion to lift the skin of the throat and the skin under the chin to a desired amount by the user. The remaining lace fabric is adhered to the skin on the side and/or rear of the neck to ensure the chin remains in the desired lifted position. The second piece of the apparatus is placed in a similar fashion on the remaining side of the neck to ensure the chin is lifted equally on both sides.

According to an alternate embodiment of the present invention, when applying the apparatus to a user’s chin, two equal sized portions of the lace fabric with adhesive backing are used. The apparatus is partially applied with the adhesive in contact with the skin of the side or back of the neck, located below the user’s hairline. Part of the lace fabric is moved in an upwards and/or rearwards motion to lift the skin of around the throat and underneath the chin to a desired degree of the user. The remaining lace fabric is adhered to the side of the neck to ensure the skin remains lifted. The second piece of the apparatus is placed in a similar fashion on the remaining side of the neck

30 According to an embodiment of the present invention, when applying the apparatus to the user’s eyebrow, two equally sized pieces of lace fabric with adhesive backing are applied above each eyebrow The apparatus is partially applied with the adhesive backing in contact with the skin of the forehead. Part of the lace fabric is moved in an upward motion to lift the skin above and around the eyebrow to lift the eyebrow and eyelid to a desired amount by the user The remaining lace fabric is adhered to the skin of the forehead, adjacent to the hairline. The second piece of the adhesive is applied to the remaining eyebrow. Additional pieces of the apparatus may be added to either eyebrow, if desired. In an alternate embodiment, a piece of string may be attached to the lace fabric. The string is secured around the back of the user’s head to aid in maintaining the skin lift and increase the amount of lift to the eyebrow and eye area.

The present invention teaches an apparatus that provides support, lift, shaping and manipulation of the body parts in an inconspicuous and comfortable manner.
