Disclosed is an adhesive application method for an adhesive-type laminated core member preparation apparatus, the apparatus comprising: a top part which ascends by means of a press; a pressing member which is provided on the top part and ascends by means of the top part; an adhesive applicator which applies an adhesive on the bottom surface of a material, being periodically pressed by means of the pressing member, while passing through the lower side of the pressing member; a bottom part having provided the adhesive applicator thereon; a punch which is provided on the top part so as to blank the material and ascends together with the top part; a die provided on the bottom part so as to face the punch and be a fixed distance away from the adhesive applicator in the direction of the transferring of the material; and a laminate unit which integrates lamina members that are sequentially laminated by means of the blanking of the material, wherein the lamina members are adhered between layers such that a laminated core member is prepared. An adhesive application method comprises a top part connecting and discharging step for, in a predetermined section among a first cycle, discharging an adhesive by means of an adhesive applicator by connecting to the movement of a top part and, in the remaining sections, pausing the discharging of the adhesive. In the predetermined section, the top part descends from a top dead center to a bottom dead center, such that the bottom side of a material is drawn near the adhesive applicator, and then ascends back to the top dead center.
