The present invention provides an adhesive composition comprising: an acrylic copolymer (A) containing 40%-80% by mass of a constituent unit derived from a (meth) acrylate alkyl ester having a C1-5 alkyl group, 10%-59.9% by mass of a constituent unit derived from a (meth) acrylate alkyl ester having a C6-18 alkyl group, and 0.1%-10% by mass of a constituent unit derived from a monomer having a hydroxyl group; a polyoxyalkylene group-containing copolymer (B) having a weight-average molecular weight of 3,000-100,000 and containing a constituent unit derived from a polyoxyalkylene group-containing monomer having an alkylene oxide average addition molar number of at least 20 and a constituent unit derived from a monomer other than the polyoxyalkylene group-containing monomer, the constituent unit derived from the polyoxyalkylene group-containing monomer being contained in the amount of up to 60% by mass; and an alkali metal salt (C).
