Abstract:
Provided is an adhesive composition having a function advantageous for suppressing deterioration in retardation films and organic EL light emitting elements due to ultraviolet rays, and having an advantageous blue light cutout function. The adhesive composition contains (a) at least one light-absorbing compound that satisfies formula (1) and (b) at least one light-absorbing compound that satisfies formula (2). ε(405) ≥ 20 (1) ε(420) ≥ 5 (2) [In the formulae, ε(405) represents the gram absorption coefficient of the compound at a wavelength of 405 nm, ε(440) represents the gram absorption coefficient of the compound at a wavelength of 440 nm, ε(420) represents the gram absorption coefficient of the compound at a wavelength of 420 nm, and the unit of the gram absorption coefficient is defined using L/(g•cm).]
