Disclosed is an adhesive layer having adhesiveness directly adherable to a glass plate arranged on the front side of a display and a desired optical filter function at the same time by itself, which hardly suffers from changes in spectral characteristics due to deterioration of a light absorbent during long time use, particularly during use under high temperature high humidity conditions. Also disclosed is a composite filter using such an adhesive layer. Specifically disclosed is an adhesive layer having an optical filter function, which is characterized by containing a block copolymer having a specific triblock structure in the molecule, a mass average molecular weight of not less than 50,000 and a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of less than 1.5, and one or more light absorbents which absorb light within a certain wavelength range. Also specifically disclosed is a composite filter using such an adhesive layer.
