Abstract:
Disclosed is an adhesive composition that includes: a (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer (A) obtained by copolymerizing (meth)acrylic acid ester and a monomer containing a reactive group such that the ratio of the monomer (the constituent unit derived from the monomer) containing a reactive group in the copolymer is 0.01-15 mass%; a polyrotaxane (B) comprised by having a straight-chain molecule passing through the opening portions of at least two cyclic molecules, the cyclic molecules having one or more reactive groups, and block groups at both ends of the straight-chain molecule; and a cross-linking agent (C) having a reactive group capable of reacting with the reactive group of the (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer (A) and the reactive group of the polyrotaxane (B); wherein the equivalent ratio of the reactive group of the cross-linking agent (C) with respect to the reactive group of the (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer (A) is 0.001-2, and the equivalent ratio of the reactive group of the cross-linking agent (C) with respect to the reactive group of the polyrotaxane (B) is 0.1-5. When applied to an optical member such as a polarizing plate or a phase difference plate, the adhesive agent composition is capable of forming an adhesive layer that has excellent ability to prevent light leakage while sufficiently maintaining durability and optical characteristics such as transmittance with respect to all light rays.
