Abstract:
An adhesive layer transfer sheet used for the formation of an image by a thermal transfer system, an image formation method using the sheet, and an image thus formed. The adhesive layer transfer sheet (1) comprises a basic sheet (2), and an adhesive layer (3) and an intervening layer (4) which are formed in the mentioned order on the basic sheet (2), and the basic sheet (2) and adhesive layer (3) are formed so that they can be separated from each other. When this sheet and an intermediate transfer medium are used in a combined manner, any desired image can be formed on a predetermined article efficiently and excellently in quality.
