Abstract:
Provided is an adhesive patch capable of exhibiting exceptional tack on the skin when affixed thereto, said patch having a low incidence of detaching from the skin once affixed. This adhesive patch is characterized by including a support and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, which includes an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, a solid resin that is solid at 40°C and incompatible with the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, a plasticizer, and a drug, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer being integrally layered on one surface of the support. The use of a solid resin and plasticizer in combination makes it possible for both the tack and cohesive force of the pressure-sensitive layer to be in effect.
