The present invention relates to an adhesive for a polarizing plate and to a polarizing plate comprising same. More particularly, the present invention relates to an adhesive composition for a polarizing plate, comprising one or more acrylic monomers having a hydrophilic group, a radical polymerization initiator, an epoxy resin, and a cationic polymerization initiator. The present invention also relates to a polarizing plate, comprising: a polarizer; a polymer film attached to one side or both sides of the polarizer; and an adhesive layer for attaching the polymer film to the polarizer, wherein the adhesive layer is made of an adhesive composition comprising one or more acrylic monomers having a hydrophilic group, a radical polymerization initiator, an epoxy resin, and a cationic polymerization initiator. According to the present invention, an adhesive composition for a polarizing plate, which maintains low viscosity and has superior adhesive force and water-resistance and optical properties, as well as particularly enhanced thermal shock properties, is provided, and a polarizing plate using the adhesive composition is also provided.
